Race Ready – Training Team

Join the B’More SUP Training Team!

Our Race Ready SUP training program has been thoughtfully designed for paddlers who are interested in taking their SUP skills to the next level. Whether you are interested in competing in a SUP Race in 2017, or simply looking to further develop your stroke technique and skills this training team will help you achieve your individual goals.

Our second session begins in late July 2017!

Registration Details: Your registration includes 10 coaching sessions over the course of 5 weeks (July 25-August 24). We want to create a team environment so hope that you will be able to attend all sessions. However, we know life gets in the way sometimes, so, if you have to miss one of the sessions your coach will send you a recap of what was taught and will also give you some drills to practice on your own.

Training Times: Beginning July 25th, we will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm at B’More SUP. The last session will be on Thursday, August 24th and will include an end-of-session party!

Tuesdays: Interval Training Day
Each week we will do different intervals on the water to boost your anaerobic capacity, improve your body’s ability to use fuel and oxygen and enhance your paddling performance over any distance, whether you’re a competitive SUP athlete, a newbie or somewhere in between.

Thursday: Skill review + Race Practice
Each Thursday we will begin with a skill review and drills. Then we will paddle a set 3 mile race course to track your speed and progress over the course of the 5 weeks. Don’t let the 3 mile course intimidate you- there will also be an option to do 1.5 miles and build up to 3 miles over the course of the 5 weeks!

Cost: $200 (includes equipment usage for all 10 training sessions, B’More SUP Training Team t-shirt, access to private training team FB group, end of session party).
