Race Ready – Training Team

Join the B’More SUP Training Team!

Our Race Ready SUP training program has been thoughtfully designed for paddlers who are interested in taking their SUP skills to the next level. Whether you are interested in competing in a SUP Race in 2018, or simply looking to further develop your stroke technique and skills this training team will help you achieve your individual goals.

Our 2018 Training Team begins May 28th!

Registration Details: Your registration includes 13 coaching sessions over the course of 6 weeks (May 28-July 8th). We want to create a team environment so hope that you will be able to attend all sessions. However, we know life gets in the way sometimes, so, if you have to miss some of the sessions your coach will send you a recap of what was taught and will also give you some drills to practice on your own.

Training Times: Beginning May 29th, we will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8pm at B’More SUP. The last session will be on Thursday, July 5th!

Tuesdays: Intervals & Drills
Each week we will do different interval training drills on the water to boost your anaerobic capacity, improve your body’s ability to use fuel and oxygen and enhance your paddling performance over any distance, whether you’re a competitive SUP athlete, a newbie or somewhere in between.

Thursday: Skill review + Race Practice
Each Thursday we will begin with a skill review and drills. Throughout the course of the 6-week program we will have several “guest coaches” coming in to share their expertise. These veterans in the SUP race world will be sharing specific skills and techniques that they have learned from years of SUP racing.

Cost: $280 (includes equipment usage for all 13 training sessions, access to private training team FB group, end of session party).

Special Price for BYOB (bring your own board) is $200.
