This premier Baltimore paddleboarding camp now features themed camp weeks, adding even more fun and variety for returning and new campers alike.
Camp Overview
GROM Camp is a half-day and full-day summer camp for kids ages 7–14, running Monday through Thursday. Campers gain confidence on the water while enjoying an active, engaging experience in a safe and supportive environment along scenic Bear Creek.
Program Highlights:
- Learn SUP skills such as stroke technique and board awareness
- Environmental awareness- we will learn about the local waterways and all the plants and animals that live on Bear Creek and the kids will participate in a water cleanup on the last day of camp
- Water safety- kids will learn how to perform SUP rescues and learn how to tow other people using their own boards
- Arts & Crafts- during the week we will work on an arts project
- Mindfulness and yoga- we will start each day with a mindfulness activity and daily yoga practice will also be included in the program (both on and off the board)
- Paddle games- our days will be filled with a variety of SUP games including obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and more!
All participants are required to wear a USCG-approved life jacket and water shoes.
Life jackets are provided, but campers are welcome to bring their own.
B’more SUP prioritizes safety, with trained staff and certified lifeguards leading all on-water activities.
Camp registrations are transferable to other available B’more SUP camp sessions, providing flexibility for summer scheduling.
